On June 20, a CCTV reporter visited the China-aided Gwadar New International Airport project in Pakistan, reporting on the construction progress of what is described as "China's largest foreign aid project." Eight Yutong dynamic compaction machines are involved in the construction, and all foundation work has been completed. As a key project of the Belt and Road Initiative's China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, the orderly progress of the China-aided Gwadar New International Airport project will further enhance cultural and economic exchanges between China and Pakistan, successfully safeguarding the "China-Pakistan friendship."

When discussing the close relationship between China and Pakistan, one port that cannot be overlooked is Gwadar Port. It serves as the maritime starting point for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a key component of the Belt and Road Initiative, and is hailed as the "pearl in the crown." Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing once stated that as a traditional partner of Pakistan, China firmly supports Pakistan's path to development and stability, and the Chinese people are helping the Pakistani people achieve prosperity. China and Pakistan have agreed to integrate the CPEC into the socio-economic development field, proposing new projects in industrial cooperation and social sectors, with the new Gwadar International Airport being a prime example.

As a key project under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Gwadar New International Airport project officially commenced on October 31, 2019. Covering an area of approximately 18 square kilometers, the project is expected to achieve calibration flights in March 2023 and be completed in October. The airport's flight area is rated 4F, the highest level, capable of accommodating large commercial aircraft such as the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747. Upon completion, the new airport, together with Gwadar Port and the East Bay Expressway, will form a modern, integrated land, sea, and air transportation network, significantly promoting the economic and social development of Balochistan province and the entire country of Pakistan.

Gwadar Port is becoming an engine for Pakistan's development, but the arid climate and complex soil conditions pose significant obstacles to construction. Dai Chunzhuang, project manager of the Gwadar Airport flight zone, explained: "This area is quite arid, with a chronic drought. To ensure the effectiveness of the foundation compaction, we first had to drill holes and inject water before proceeding with the compaction. We had to repeat this process three or four times to achieve the desired effect."

In the foundation treatment of the new Gwadar International Airport, to ensure project quality and improve construction efficiency, the construction team selected eight Yutong Heavy Equipment hydraulic crawler-type dynamic compaction machines for the foundation dynamic compaction treatment. As professional dynamic compaction equipment, Yutong dynamic compaction machines adopt a highly efficient power system and a unique high-strength structural design, and provide users with full life-cycle solutions for the equipment, effectively ensuring high product safety and low failure rate, guaranteeing the progress of the airport project, and contributing to "China's largest foreign aid project".

Ding Kan, head of the Gwadar Airport project construction management team, said in an interview with CCTV: "This is a very modern terminal built according to Chinese design and construction standards." The construction of the new Gwadar airport will not only bring them job opportunities, but will also change the lifestyle of the local people.

In recent years, whether it is products or services, "Made in China" has gained increasing recognition and affirmation. It has also been continuously developing and integrating into national strategies, providing technical support for overseas aid projects, helping urban development, and further establishing a global service system to provide customers with better service.
