In May 2023, on the banks of the Jinsha River and at the top of western Sichuan, Yutong YTR456HE electric rotary drilling rig successfully started drilling at the Lava Power Station in Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The pile diameter was 1.6 meters and the pile depth was 38 meters. Under the power grid mode, the energy consumption of the operation was reduced by 88% compared to the same site and same level fuel rotary drilling rig, and the efficiency was improved by more than 10%.
In May 2023, Yutong YTR456HE extended range electric rotary drilling rig was once again delivered to Sichuan to assist in the green and low-carbon construction of the Chengnan Expressway expansion project. The pile diameter is 1.8 meters, the pile depth is 28 meters, the pile completion time is 1 hour and 40 minutes, and a single pile only requires 160 kWh of electricity.
